ସ୍ଥାନ ଓ ସମୟ / Place and time
ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନର ଓଡ଼ିଶା। ଏକ ଛାଇଆ ଅଗଣା ଓ ବାରଣ୍ଡା; ଗାଁ ବା ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଧାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ହୋଇନାହିଁ।
Present-day Odisha. A shaded courtyard and veranda; no village or district has been fixed.

ଭାବର ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ / The performance turn
ତରତର କାମ → ଅଟକି ଦେଖିବା → ନିଜ ଭୁଲ୍‌ରୁ ଖେଳ ଖୋଜିବା।
Rushing → stopping to look → finding play in her own mistake.

ପୋଷାକ ଓ ଚଳନ / Clothing and movement
ନୀଳୁର ଛୋଟ ଲାଲ ସୂତା ସାର୍ଟ, ତା’ ନିଜ ବାମ ପଟେ ନୀଳ ପକେଟ୍ ଓ କ୍ରିମ୍ ରଙ୍ଗର ଛୋଟ ପ୍ୟାଣ୍ଟ। ଚଇତିର ନୀଳ ଢିଲା ଟ୍ୟୁନିକ୍‌ର ବେକରେ ସରୁ ସୁନେଲି ଧାର ଓ ମାଟିଆ ହଳଦିଆ ପ୍ୟାଣ୍ଟ। ବସିବା ଓ ଉଠିବା ସହ ଅଣ୍ଟା ଓ ଆଣ୍ଠୁର କୁଞ୍ଚ ବଦଳିବ।
Nilu wears a short red cotton shirt with a blue pocket on his anatomical left and cream cropped trousers. Chaiti wears a loose blue tunic with a narrow gold neckline and muted ochre trousers. Folds at the waist and knees respond to sitting and rising.

ପ୍ରତି ଦୃଶ୍ୟରେ ମେଳ / Continuity between shots
ଶିଶୁଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଉପଯୁକ୍ତ ଧୋଇହେବା ରଙ୍ଗ, ପୁରୁଣା ଖବରକାଗଜ ଓ ନିଜ କାଗଜ ବ୍ୟାଗ୍। ଡାହାଣ ହାତର ଆଙ୍ଗୁଠିର ରଙ୍ଗ ଓ ବ୍ୟାଗ୍‌ର ବଡ଼ ଦାଗ ସ୍ଥାନ ବଦଳିବନି। ଏହା କୌଣସି ପାରମ୍ପରିକ ନକ୍ସାର ନାମରେ ଦେଖାଯିବନି।
Child-appropriate washable paint, old newspaper and her own paper bag. Keep the paint on her right fingertips and the large blot in the same place. Do not present the invented marks as a named traditional motif.

ଚଇତି ଖବରକାଗଜ ଉପରେ ନିଜ କାଗଜ ବ୍ୟାଗ୍ ରଖି ଗୋଲ ଟିପା ଦେଉଛି। ନୀଳୁ ଶୁଖିଲା ପଟ ଧରିଥାଏ।
Chaiti stamps round dots on her paper bag over newspaper. Nilu holds the dry edge.

ଦୃଶ୍ୟ 2 · 12–24 ସେକେଣ୍ଡ / Scene 2 · 12–24 seconds
ସେ ଜୋରରେ ଦବାଏ। ରଙ୍ଗ ବଡ଼ ଦାଗ ହୋଇଯାଏ। ଚଇତି ହାତ ଉଠାଇ ଅଟକିଯାଏ।
She presses too hard. The paint spreads into a large blot. Chaiti lifts her hand and stops.
ଧ୍ୱନି / Sound: ଓଦା ରଙ୍ଗର ଛପ୍; ତା’ପରେ ବିରାମ। / A wet squish, then a pause.
ଚଇତି: ଓହୋ… ଏଇଟା ତ ବଡ଼ ହୋଇଗଲା।
Chaiti: Oh… that one grew.

ଦୃଶ୍ୟ 3 · 24–38 ସେକେଣ୍ଡ / Scene 3 · 24–38 seconds
ସେ ବ୍ୟାଗ୍‌ଟା ଟିକେ ବୁଲାଇ ଦେଖେ। ଦାଗ ପାଖରେ ଦୁଇ ସରୁ ରେଖା ଟାଣି ଏକ ମଜାଳିଆ ଲମ୍ବାଗୋଡ଼ିଆ ପକ୍ଷୀ କରେ।
She turns the bag a little. Two thin lines beside the blot make a funny long-legged bird.
ଧ୍ୱନି / Sound: ତୁଳୀର ମୃଦୁ ଶବ୍ଦ। / A soft brush sound.

ଚଇତି ନିଜ ପାଦ ଲମ୍ବା କରି ସେଇ ପକ୍ଷୀ ପରି ଚାଲି ଦେଖାଏ। ବ୍ୟାଗ୍ ଶୁଖିବାକୁ ରହେ; ନୀଳୁ ହସେ।
Chaiti stretches her steps to walk like the bird. The bag stays flat to dry while Nilu laughs.
