ସ୍ଥାନ ଓ ସମୟ / Place and time
ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନର କୋରାପୁଟ ପାହାଡ଼ ଅଞ୍ଚଳର ଏକ କାଳ୍ପନିକ ଗାଁ। ରେବା ମାଉସୀଙ୍କ ଅଗଣା ଓ ବାରଣ୍ଡା। କୁସୁମ ଓ ମନ୍ଦାର ଦୁଇ ଭଉଣୀଙ୍କ ପିଲା; ରେବା ଦୁହିଁଙ୍କ ମାଉସୀ।
A fictional village in the present-day Koraput hills. Reba Mausi’s courtyard and veranda. Kusum and Mandar are cousins; Reba is aunt to both.

ଭାବର ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ / The performance turn
ତରତର ସାହାଯ୍ୟ → ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ଅନୁମାନରେ ନିଜକୁ ଥାମିବା → ସାଙ୍ଗକୁ କଥା ସାରିବାକୁ ଦେବା।

ପୋଷାକ ଓ ଚଳନ / Clothing and movement
କୁସୁମର ଦୁଇ ବେଣୀ, କ୍ରିମ୍ ବ୍ଲାଉଜ୍‌ର ହାତରେ ମାଟିଆ ଲାଲ ଧାର ଓ ମାଟିଆ ଲାଲ ସ୍କର୍ଟର ତଳେ ଦୁଇ ହାଲୁକା ଧାର। ମନ୍ଦାରର ସବୁଜ ସାର୍ଟ, ମାଟିଆ ହଳଦିଆ ହାଫ୍ ପ୍ୟାଣ୍ଟ ଓ ନିଜ ବାମ କାନ୍ଧରେ କ୍ରିମ୍ କପଡ଼ା। ସାଧାରଣ ଚପଲ। ଏଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଏହି କାଳ୍ପନିକ ପିଲାଙ୍କ ପୋଷାକ, କୌଣସି ସମୁଦାୟର ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦିଷ୍ଟ ସଜ ନୁହେଁ।
Kusum keeps two plaits, cream blouse with rust sleeve bands, and rust skirt with two pale hem bands. Mandar wears a green shirt, ochre shorts and a cream cloth on his anatomical left shoulder. Ordinary sandals. These are the fictional children’s clothes, not a prescribed community costume.

ପ୍ରତି ଦୃଶ୍ୟରେ ମେଳ / Continuity between shots
ମନ୍ଦାରର ଖାତା ଓ ପେନ୍‌ସିଲ୍ ମାଟିରେ ଅଛି। କୁସୁମ ଆଣିଥିବା ଖାଲି ବ୍ୟାଗ୍ ଶେଷରେ ପାଖରେ ରହିବ। ନୂଆ ଅଦୃଶ୍ୟ ଜିନିଷ ଆସିବନି।
Mandar’s notebook and pencil are established on the ground. The empty bag Kusum brings stays beside them at the end. No unexplained new prop appears.

ଦୃଶ୍ୟ 1 · 0–12 ସେକେଣ୍ଡ / Scene 1 · 0–12 seconds
ମନ୍ଦାର ଖାତା ଉପରେ ଏକ ଡବା ରଖିଛି। କୁସୁମ ତା’ ପାଖକୁ ଆସେ।
Mandar has a box resting on his notebook. Kusum approaches.

ମନ୍ଦାର: କୁସୁମ, ମୋତେ ଟିକେ…
Mandar: Kusum, could you just…
କୁସୁମ: ବ୍ୟାଗ୍ ଦରକାର? ଆଣୁଛି।
Kusum: Need a bag? I’ll get one.

ଦୃଶ୍ୟ 2 · 12–24 ସେକେଣ୍ଡ / Scene 2 · 12–24 seconds
କୁସୁମ ବ୍ୟାଗ୍ ଆଣି ପାତେ। ମନ୍ଦାର ଡବାକୁ ଦେଖାଏ। ସେ ଆଉ ଗୋଟିଏ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେବାକୁ ଯାଇ ଥାମେ।
Kusum opens the bag. Mandar points at the box. She starts another answer, then stops herself.
ଧ୍ୱନି / Sound: ଛୋଟ ବିରାମ। / A short pause.
କୁସୁମ: ନା… କହ।
Kusum: No… go on.

ଦୃଶ୍ୟ 3 · 24–38 ସେକେଣ୍ଡ / Scene 3 · 24–38 seconds
ମନ୍ଦାର ଖାତା ତଳୁ ବାହାର କରିବାକୁ ହାତ ବଢ଼ାଏ। କୁସୁମ ଡବା ଧରେ।
Mandar reaches for the notebook underneath. Kusum holds the box.
ଧ୍ୱନି / Sound: ଡବା ଉଠିବା ଓ କାଗଜ ଖସିବାର ଶବ୍ଦ। / Box lifting and paper sliding.
ମନ୍ଦାର: ଏଇଟା ଟିକେ ଧର। ଖାତାଟା କାଢ଼ିବି।
Mandar: Hold this a moment. I want my notebook.

ଦୃଶ୍ୟ 4 · 38–52 ସେକେଣ୍ଡ / Scene 4 · 38–52 seconds
ମନ୍ଦାର ଖାତା ଖୋଲେ। ଖାଲି ବ୍ୟାଗ୍ ଦୁହିଁଙ୍କ ପାଖରେ ପଡ଼ିଛି। କୁସୁମ ତାକୁ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ନିଜ ତଳେ ରଖି ବସେ।
Mandar opens the notebook. The empty bag lies beside them. Kusum folds it under herself as a sitting pad.
ଧ୍ୱନି / Sound: ଛୋଟ ହସ। / A small laugh.
କୁସୁମ: ବ୍ୟାଗ୍‌ଟା ମୋ କାମରେ ଲାଗିଲା।
Kusum: The bag turned out to be for me.
