ସ୍ଥାନ ଓ ସମୟ / Place and time
ନୂଆପାଟଣା–ମାଣିଆବନ୍ଧ ପ୍ରେରିତ କାଳ୍ପନିକ ବୁଣାପଡ଼ାରେ ପିଲାଙ୍କ ଭ୍ରମଣ। ଏହା ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍ଥାୟୀ ଘରର ଠିକଣା ନୁହେଁ।
The children visit a fictional weaving neighbourhood inspired by Nuapatna–Maniabandha. This does not establish their permanent home.

ଭାବର ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ / The performance turn
ଯୋଜନାରେ ବୁଡ଼ିରହିବା → ସାଙ୍ଗର କ୍ଲାନ୍ତ ହାତ ଦେଖିବା → ନିଜେ ହସି କାମରେ ହାତ ଲଗାଇବା।

ପୋଷାକ ଓ ଚଳନ / Clothing and movement
ନୀଳୁର ଛୋଟ ଲାଲ ସୂତା ସାର୍ଟ, ତା’ ନିଜ ବାମ ପଟେ ନୀଳ ପକେଟ୍ ଓ କ୍ରିମ୍ ରଙ୍ଗର ଛୋଟ ପ୍ୟାଣ୍ଟ। ଚଇତିର ନୀଳ ଢିଲା ଟ୍ୟୁନିକ୍‌ର ବେକରେ ସରୁ ସୁନେଲି ଧାର ଓ ମାଟିଆ ହଳଦିଆ ପ୍ୟାଣ୍ଟ। ବସିବା ଓ ଉଠିବା ସହ ଅଣ୍ଟା ଓ ଆଣ୍ଠୁର କୁଞ୍ଚ ବଦଳିବ। ବୁଣାକାରଙ୍କ ସାଧା ଶାଢ଼ୀ, ସରୁ ନୀଳ ଧାର ଓ ଛୋଟ ହାତର ବ୍ଲାଉଜ୍ ପୂର୍ବ ଅଧ୍ୟୟନରୁ ରହିବ। କାମବେଳେ କାନି ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରିତ; ଏହା ଜଣେ କାଳ୍ପନିକ ମଣିଷଙ୍କ ପୋଷାକ, ସମସ୍ତ ବୁଣାକାରଙ୍କ ନୁହେଁ।
Nilu wears a short red cotton shirt with a blue pocket on his anatomical left and cream cropped trousers. Chaiti wears a loose blue tunic with a narrow gold neckline and muted ochre trousers. Folds at the waist and knees respond to sitting and rising. The weaver retains the previous study’s plain sari, narrow blue border and short-sleeved blouse, with the sari end kept clear of the work. This is one fictional person’s wardrobe, not a uniform for weavers.

ପ୍ରତି ଦୃଶ୍ୟରେ ମେଳ / Continuity between shots
ସେଇ ଗୋଟିଏ ହାଲୁକା, ସାଧା ଆୟତାକାର ସୂତା କପଡ଼ା। ଧାରରେ ଛୋଟ ନୀଳ ସିଲେଇ; ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ନକ୍ସା ନାହିଁ। ଚଇତି ବାମେ, ନୀଳୁ ଡାହାଣେ। ତନ୍ତ ଏହି ଦୃଶ୍ୟରେ ବନ୍ଦ। ଚଟେଇରେ ପିଲାମାନେ ଖାଲି ପାଦରେ।
One light, plain rectangular cotton cloth with a small blue edge stitch; no added decorative pattern. Chaiti stays screen left, Nilu screen right. The loom is idle in this scene. The children are barefoot on the mat.

ଦୃଶ୍ୟ 1 · 0–12 ସେକେଣ୍ଡ / Scene 1 · 0–12 seconds
ବାରଣ୍ଡାରେ ଚଇତି କପଡ଼ାର ଦୁଇ କୋଣ ଧରିଛି। ନୀଳୁ ଅନ୍ୟ ପଟ ପାଖେ ବସି ମଝି ଖୋଜୁଛି। ପଛରେ ବୁଣାକାର ଭଙ୍ଗା କପଡ଼ା ରଖନ୍ତି।
On the veranda, Chaiti holds two corners. Nilu crouches at the opposite end, looking for the middle. Behind them, the weaver puts folded cloth aside.
ଧ୍ୱନି / Sound: କପଡ଼ାର ମୃଦୁ ଶବ୍ଦ; ଦୂର ଅଗଣାର ଶବ୍ଦ। / Soft cloth movement and distant courtyard sounds.
ନୀଳୁ: ଆଗେ ମଝିଟା ଠିକ୍ କରିଦିଏ।
Nilu: Let me find the exact middle first.

ଦୃଶ୍ୟ 2 · 12–26 ସେକେଣ୍ଡ / Scene 2 · 12–26 seconds
ନୀଳୁ ଗୋଟିଏ କୋଣ ମେଳାଏ, ପୁଣି ଖୋଲେ। ଚଇତିର ହାତ ଟିକେ ତଳକୁ ଖସେ। ସେ ନୀଳୁକୁ ଚାହେଁ।
Nilu aligns a corner, then opens it again. Chaiti’s arms sink a little. She looks at him.
ଧ୍ୱନି / Sound: ହାଲୁକା ପବନ। କଥା ଆଗରୁ ଛୋଟ ବିରାମ। / A light breeze. A short pause before the line.
ଚଇତି: ମଝିଟା ମିଳିଲା? ମୋ ହାତ ଥକିଗଲାଣି।
Chaiti: Found it? My arms are getting tired.

ଦୃଶ୍ୟ 3 · 26–40 ସେକେଣ୍ଡ / Scene 3 · 26–40 seconds
ନୀଳୁ ମୁଣ୍ଡ ଉଠାଏ। ତୁରନ୍ତ ଠିଆ ହୋଇ ଦୁଇ କୋଣ ଧରେ। ଦୁହେଁ ଗୋଟିଏ ପାଦ ଆଗକୁ ଯାଇ କୋଣ ମେଳାନ୍ତି।
Nilu looks up, rises and takes both corners. They each step forward and bring the ends together.
ଧ୍ୱନି / Sound: ଚଟେଇରେ ନରମ ପାଦ ଶବ୍ଦ, କପଡ଼ାର ଫଡ଼ଫଡ଼। / Soft barefoot steps on the mat and a flutter of cloth.
ନୀଳୁ: ଓହୋ! ମୁଁ ଏ ପଟଟା ଧରୁଛି।
Nilu: Oh! I’ll hold this end.

ଦୃଶ୍ୟ 4 · 40–54 ସେକେଣ୍ଡ / Scene 4 · 40–54 seconds
ଦୁହେଁ ଭଙ୍ଗା କପଡ଼ା ଚଟେଇରେ ରଖନ୍ତି। ଗୋଟିଏ ଧାର ଟିକେ ବାହାରେ। ନୀଳୁ ଆଙ୍ଗୁଠି ବଢ଼ାଏ, ଚଇତିକୁ ଚାହିଁ ହସେ। ଦୁହେଁ ଏକାଠି ସଜାଡ଼ନ୍ତି।
They put the folded cloth on the mat. One edge sticks out. Nilu reaches to adjust it, catches Chaiti’s eye and smiles. They straighten it together.
ଧ୍ୱନି / Sound: ଦୁହିଁଙ୍କ ଛୋଟ ହସ। ଶେଷ ତିନି ସେକେଣ୍ଡ କଥା ନାହିଁ। / A small shared laugh. No dialogue for the last three seconds.
ଚଇତି: ଏବେ ମାପିବୁ?
Chaiti: Measuring it now?
ନୀଳୁ: ଏତିକି ସଜାଡ଼ିଦିଏ!
Nilu: Just this little bit!
