ସ୍ଥାନ ଓ ସମୟ / Place and time
ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନର ଓଡ଼ିଶା। ଏକ ଛାଇଆ ଅଗଣା ଓ ବାରଣ୍ଡା; ଗାଁ ବା ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଧାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ହୋଇନାହିଁ।
Present-day Odisha. A shaded courtyard and veranda; no village or district has been fixed.

ଭାବର ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ / The performance turn
ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ହେବାକୁ ଚାହିଁବା → ଭୁଲ୍ ଧରାପଡ଼ିବା → ଲଜ୍ଜା ଛାଡ଼ି ଖେଳରେ ଯୋଗଦେବା।
Seeking certainty → being caught out → dropping his embarrassment and joining in.

ପୋଷାକ ଓ ଚଳନ / Clothing and movement
ନୀଳୁର ଛୋଟ ଲାଲ ସୂତା ସାର୍ଟ, ତା’ ନିଜ ବାମ ପଟେ ନୀଳ ପକେଟ୍ ଓ କ୍ରିମ୍ ରଙ୍ଗର ଛୋଟ ପ୍ୟାଣ୍ଟ। ଚଇତିର ନୀଳ ଢିଲା ଟ୍ୟୁନିକ୍‌ର ବେକରେ ସରୁ ସୁନେଲି ଧାର ଓ ମାଟିଆ ହଳଦିଆ ପ୍ୟାଣ୍ଟ। ବସିବା ଓ ଉଠିବା ସହ ଅଣ୍ଟା ଓ ଆଣ୍ଠୁର କୁଞ୍ଚ ବଦଳିବ।
Nilu wears a short red cotton shirt with a blue pocket on his anatomical left and cream cropped trousers. Chaiti wears a loose blue tunic with a narrow gold neckline and muted ochre trousers. Folds at the waist and knees respond to sitting and rising.

ପ୍ରତି ଦୃଶ୍ୟରେ ମେଳ / Continuity between shots
ମାଟିରେ ତିନିଟି ଛୋଟ ଗୋଲ ଦାଗ; ଏହା ପିଲାଙ୍କ ନିଜ ଖେଳ, କୌଣସି ପାରମ୍ପରିକ ଖେଳର ପୁନର୍ନିର୍ମାଣ ନୁହେଁ। ଚପଲ ଓ ପାଦର ସ୍ଥାନ ପ୍ରତି ଦୃଶ୍ୟରେ ମେଳିବ।

ଦୃଶ୍ୟ 1 · 0–12 ସେକେଣ୍ଡ / Scene 1 · 0–12 seconds
ଚଇତି ତିନିଟି ଗୋଲ ଦାଗ ଭିତରେ ପାଦ ପକାଇ ଦେଖାଏ। ନୀଳୁ ପାଖରେ ଠିଆ ହୋଇ ଆଙ୍ଗୁଠିରେ ଗଣେ।
Chaiti demonstrates steps through three circles. Nilu stands beside her, counting on his fingers.
ଧ୍ୱନି / Sound: ପାଦର ଟପ୍ ଟପ୍। / Light foot taps.
ଚଇତି: ଏଠି ଗୋଟେ ପାଦ, ତା’ପରେ ଦୁଇଟା।
Chaiti: One foot here, then both.

ଦୃଶ୍ୟ 2 · 12–24 ସେକେଣ୍ଡ / Scene 2 · 12–24 seconds
ନୀଳୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ପାଦ ଉଠାଇ ଅଟକି ରହେ। ଚଇତି ଦୁଇ ପାଦରେ ଆରାମରେ ଠିଆ।
Nilu lifts a foot and holds it there. Chaiti stands comfortably on both feet.
ଧ୍ୱନି / Sound: ପବନ ଓ ଏକ ଅଟକା ନିଶ୍ୱାସ। / A breeze and a held breath.
ନୀଳୁ: ଡାହାଣ ଆଗେ? ନା ବାମ?
Nilu: Right first? Or left?
ଚଇତି: ଯେଉଁଟା ଇଚ୍ଛା।
Chaiti: Whichever you like.

ଦୃଶ୍ୟ 3 · 24–36 ସେକେଣ୍ଡ / Scene 3 · 24–36 seconds
ନୀଳୁ ଦୁଇ ପାଦରେ ପ୍ରଥମ ଗୋଲରେ ପଶେ। ନିଜେ ତଳକୁ ଚାହିଁ ଭୁଲ୍ ଦେଖେ। ଚଇତି କିଛି କହିବା ଆଗରୁ ସେ ହସିପକାଏ।
Nilu steps into the first circle with both feet. He looks down and sees his mistake. He laughs before Chaiti can say anything.
ଧ୍ୱନି / Sound: ଏକାଠି ଦୁଇ ପାଦର ଶବ୍ଦ, ତା’ପରେ ହସ। / Two feet landing together, then laughter.
ନୀଳୁ: ଦୁଇଟାର ଇଚ୍ଛା ହେଲା!
Nilu: They both wanted a turn!

ଦୃଶ୍ୟ 4 · 36–50 ସେକେଣ୍ଡ / Scene 4 · 36–50 seconds
ଚଇତି ପାଖରେ ଆଉ ଗୋଟିଏ ଗୋଲ କରେ। ନୀଳୁ ତା’ ପରେ ଆଉ ଗୋଟିଏ କରେ। ଦୁହେଁ ନୂଆ ବାଟରେ ଖେଳନ୍ତି।
Chaiti draws another circle alongside. Nilu adds one beyond it. They try their growing path together.
ଧ୍ୱନି / Sound: ପାଦ ଓ ହସ; ସଙ୍ଗୀତ ଦରକାର ନାହିଁ। / Footsteps and laughter; no music needed.
ଚଇତି: ପୁଣି ଥରେ?
Chaiti: Again?
ନୀଳୁ: ଏଥର ମୋତେ ଦେଖ।
Nilu: Watch me this time.
