ସ୍ଥାନ ଓ ସମୟ / Place and time
ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନର କୋରାପୁଟ ପାହାଡ଼ ଅଞ୍ଚଳର ଏକ କାଳ୍ପନିକ ଗାଁ। ରେବା ମାଉସୀଙ୍କ ଅଗଣା ଓ ବାରଣ୍ଡା। କୁସୁମ ଓ ମନ୍ଦାର ଦୁଇ ଭଉଣୀଙ୍କ ପିଲା; ରେବା ଦୁହିଁଙ୍କ ମାଉସୀ।
A fictional village in the present-day Koraput hills. Reba Mausi’s courtyard and veranda. Kusum and Mandar are cousins; Reba is aunt to both.

ଭାବର ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ / The performance turn
କାମରେ ବୁଡ଼ିରହିବା → ନିଜ ଅଧା ଶୁଣା ଉତ୍ତର ଧରିପକାଇବା → ସଚେତନ ବିରାମ ଓ ମନଦେଇ ଶୁଣିବା।

ପୋଷାକ ଓ ଚଳନ / Clothing and movement
କୁସୁମର ଦୁଇ ବେଣୀ, କ୍ରିମ୍ ବ୍ଲାଉଜ୍‌ର ହାତରେ ମାଟିଆ ଲାଲ ଧାର ଓ ମାଟିଆ ଲାଲ ସ୍କର୍ଟର ତଳେ ଦୁଇ ହାଲୁକା ଧାର। ମନ୍ଦାରର ସବୁଜ ସାର୍ଟ, ମାଟିଆ ହଳଦିଆ ହାଫ୍ ପ୍ୟାଣ୍ଟ ଓ ନିଜ ବାମ କାନ୍ଧରେ କ୍ରିମ୍ କପଡ଼ା। ସାଧାରଣ ଚପଲ। ଏଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଏହି କାଳ୍ପନିକ ପିଲାଙ୍କ ପୋଷାକ, କୌଣସି ସମୁଦାୟର ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦିଷ୍ଟ ସଜ ନୁହେଁ। ନୂଆ ଦୃଶ୍ୟରେ ରେବାଙ୍କ କାମର ପୋଷାକ ଅଧ୍ୟୟନ ବ୍ୟବହାର ହେବ: କ୍ରିମ୍ ଶାଢ଼ୀ, ଗାଢ଼ ଲାଲ ଧାର, ଛୋଟ ହାତର ବ୍ଲାଉଜ୍, ନିଜ ଡାହାଣ କାନ୍ଧରେ ବନ୍ଧା କାନି ଓ କାମ ପାଇଁ ଟିକେ ଛୋଟ ଲମ୍ବ। ତଳ ଖୋସା, ଡାହାଣ ହାତରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଚୁଡ଼ି। ଏହି କୋଟପାଡ଼ ପ୍ରେରିତ ଚିତ୍ରକଳ୍ପର ପିନ୍ଧଣି ଯାଞ୍ଚ ବାକି; ପୁରୁଣା ବାମ କାନ୍ଧର ମଡେଲ୍‌କୁ ସଂରକ୍ଷିତ ରଖାଯାଇଛି।
Kusum keeps two plaits, cream blouse with rust sleeve bands, and rust skirt with two pale hem bands. Mandar wears a green shirt, ochre shorts and a cream cloth on his anatomical left shoulder. Ordinary sandals. These are the fictional children’s clothes, not a prescribed community costume. New scenes use Reba’s working-wardrobe study: cream sari, maroon border, short-sleeved blouse, secured end at her anatomical right shoulder and a slightly shorter working length. Low bun and one bangle on the right wrist. This Kotpad-informed illustrated interpretation still needs a practical draping check; the earlier left-shoulder model remains in the archive.

ପ୍ରତି ଦୃଶ୍ୟରେ ମେଳ / Continuity between shots
ରେବା ନିଜ ଡାହାଣ କାନ୍ଧରେ ବନ୍ଧା କାନି ଓ ଡାହାଣ ହାତର ଗୋଟିଏ ଚୁଡ଼ି ରଖିବେ। ସେଇ ଏକ ବ୍ୟାଗ୍, ଶେଷ ଛୋଟ ସିଲେଇ। ଛୁଞ୍ଚି କେବଳ ତାଙ୍କ ହାତରେ; ଶେଷରେ ଛୁଞ୍ଚି ଗଦିରେ ରଖି ଡବା ବନ୍ଦ କରିବେ।
Reba’s secured sari end stays on her anatomical right shoulder, with one bangle on her right wrist. One bag and its last short seam. Only she handles the needle; she puts it in a needle cushion and closes the box before stopping.

ଦୃଶ୍ୟ 1 · 0–14 ସେକେଣ୍ଡ / Scene 1 · 0–14 seconds
ରେବା ବାରଣ୍ଡାରେ ବସି ବ୍ୟାଗ୍‌ର ଶେଷ ସିଲେଇ କରନ୍ତି। କୁସୁମ ଓ ମନ୍ଦାର ପାଖରେ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରୁଛନ୍ତି। ସେ ମୁହଁ ନଉଠାଇ କଥା କହନ୍ତି।
Reba sits on the veranda finishing a bag seam. Kusum and Mandar wait nearby. She speaks without looking up.
ଧ୍ୱନି / Sound: କପଡ଼ା ଓ ସୂତା ଟାଣିବାର ଶବ୍ଦ। / Cloth and thread pulling.
ରେବା ମାଉସୀ: ଏଇ ସିଲେଇଟା ସରୁ। ତା’ପରେ ଶୁଣିବି।
Reba Mausi: Just let me finish this seam. Then I’ll listen.

ଦୃଶ୍ୟ 2 · 14–28 ସେକେଣ୍ଡ / Scene 2 · 14–28 seconds
ମନ୍ଦାର ଦୁଇ ହାତରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଛୋଟ ଗୋଲ ଦେଖାଇ କହେ। ରେବା ଅଭ୍ୟାସରେ ମୁଣ୍ଡ ହଲାନ୍ତି, କିନ୍ତୁ ଅନ୍ୟ ଉତ୍ତର ଦିଅନ୍ତି। କୁସୁମ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଚାହେଁ।
Mandar makes a little circle with his hands. Reba nods automatically but answers something else. Kusum looks at her.
ଧ୍ୱନି / Sound: ମନ୍ଦାରର କଥା; ସୂତାର ଶବ୍ଦ ଥାମେ। / Mandar’s voice; the thread sound stops.
ମନ୍ଦାର: ତା’ପରେ ମୋ ଗୋଲା ଗଡ଼ିଗଲା।
Mandar: Then my ball rolled away.
ରେବା ମାଉସୀ: ହଁ, ବ୍ୟାଗ୍‌ଟା ସରିଗଲା।
Reba Mausi: Yes, the bag is finished.

ଦୃଶ୍ୟ 3 · 28–42 ସେକେଣ୍ଡ / Scene 3 · 28–42 seconds
ରେବା ମୁଣ୍ଡ ଉଠାଇ ପିଲାଙ୍କ ମୁହଁ ଦେଖନ୍ତି। ନିଜ ଭୁଲ୍ ବୁଝି ହସନ୍ତି। ଛୁଞ୍ଚି ଗଦିରେ ରଖି ଛୋଟ ଡବା ବନ୍ଦ କରନ୍ତି।
Reba looks up at their faces and smiles at her mistake. She puts the needle in its cushion and closes the small box.
ଧ୍ୱନି / Sound: ଡବା ବନ୍ଦ ହେବାର ଟିକ୍। / A little click as the box closes.
ରେବା ମାଉସୀ: ମୁଁ ତ ବ୍ୟାଗ୍‌ର କଥା ଶୁଣୁଥିଲି! ଆଗରୁ କହ।
Reba Mausi: I was still listening to the bag! Start again.

ଦୃଶ୍ୟ 4 · 42–58 ସେକେଣ୍ଡ / Scene 4 · 42–58 seconds
ରେବା ବ୍ୟାଗ୍ ଓ ବନ୍ଦ ଡବାକୁ ପାଖରେ ରଖି ପିଲାଙ୍କ ଆଡ଼କୁ ବୁଲି ବସନ୍ତି। ମନ୍ଦାର ହାତରେ ଗୋଲା ଗଡ଼ିବା ଦେଖାଏ। କୁସୁମ ନିଜ ପାଦ ଦେଖାଇ ଗପରେ ଯୋଗଦିଏ।
Reba puts the bag and closed box aside and turns towards the children. Mandar acts out the rolling ball; Kusum points to her foot and joins in.
ଧ୍ୱନି / Sound: କଥା ଓ ଏକାଠି ହସ। ଶେଷରେ ନିରବ ଧ୍ୟାନ। / Talk and a shared laugh. End with quiet attention.
କୁସୁମ: ଗୋଲାଟା ମୋ ପାଦରେ ଅଟକିଗଲା।
