ଟଳମଳ ଚକ / The Wobbly Wheel PANEL 1 Plain shaded home workshop courtyard. Tara at left proudly places a small shallow open rectangular cardboard toy cart on a flat wooden test board. Kanu at right leans in to test; Dinu stands behind, watching. Cart has two straight thin axles across its width and four round cardboard disc wheels. Consistent simple props, no text or markings other than plain drawing lines. ENGLISH CAPTION: Tara’s little toy cart is ready for its first test. Tara: Look, Kanu—it’s ready! Kanu: Then let’s try it! PANEL 2 Low close view of Kanu gently rolling the cart along the flat test board. It tilts and bobs because the near front wheel's hole is visibly off-centre. Small motion strokes show irregular movement. Tara looks annoyed at the imperfect result. The board is completely flat; do not add rocks, bumps or a crooked axle as alternative causes. Kanu: It’s bouncing even on a flat board! Tara: It’ll be fine if I smooth the wheel’s edge. PANEL 3 Tara has smoothed the cardboard rim with a small sandpaper scrap now resting on the table. The cart still bobs. Dinu invites them to look closer with an open hand, not taking over the cart. Kanu slows his test and crouches to wheel height. Keep Tara left, Kanu right, Dinu behind. ENGLISH CAPTION: The edge is smooth. The cart still wobbles. Tara: Why is it still doing that? Dinu Mamu: Roll it slowly. Watch this wheel. PANEL 4 The discovery: close-up of ONE detached round cardboard wheel held upright by Tara at its rim, facing viewer. Its axle hole is unmistakably off-centre, halfway between centre and upper-right rim. A small pencil cross marks the actual centre, clearly separate from that hole. Kanu points to the wrong hole; both children's faces show recognition at edges of panel. No text or labels. This is the key visual evidence; keep disc large, truly round and hole offset, not centred. Kanu: This wheel keeps going up and down! Tara: Oh! The hole isn’t in the middle! PANEL 5 Repair on the worktable. A NEW cardboard wheel lies flat with a small cross at its exact centre. Tara has marked it with ruler and pencil and now watches. Dinu alone uses a short hand-held awl vertically at the centre over a thick scrap wooden block, his fingers well to the side. Kanu watches. The OLD off-centre wheel lies separately to the left for comparison; only two detached wheels in view. Children do not hold sharp tools. The partly disassembled cart is in background. No power tool. Tara: Let’s mark the middle of a new wheel first. Dinu Mamu: I’ll make the hole. PANEL 6 Cart now runs level along the SAME flat test board carrying two small wooden blocks. Kanu holds one extra small block, looking hopefully toward Tara, with a modest pile of spare blocks nearby. Tara smiles and raises ONE finger for one at a time. Dinu watches amused in background with hands behind back. All three share the success. No bouncing motion strokes, no off-centre hole on the repaired front wheel. Kanu: It’s running smoothly now. One more wooden block? Tara: One first! Not the whole pile!
